Cheating?

Cheating nowadays is very common to our lives. In school the students cheat in their projects through plagiarism and in the examination through the use of signals or material objects that they utilize to either share their answers or get answers from their seatmates. Some traffic enforcers receive money from those people who violated the laws in driving. Even politicians cheat during election; they give money to other people to force them to vote them.

There was also a time in my life that I have cheated when I was already in a relationship with someone but still, I have dated other guys besides him. I am aware of what I am doing; I know it’s bad to hurt someone. I just felt I needed to fight back, because that guy also cheated on me when he lied to my face.

The movie that I have seen made me realize that it is wrong to think that cheating is good. Cheating might help us reach our goals but it will haunt us forever. It will leave a feeling of guilt and shame because we haven’t been honest with others and also with ourselves. If we accept that we are not good, we should practice more and strive to improve.

I read this.... from the student of Ateneo de Davao University, isn't it true?
